Interim nova eius classis, sub Areobindo, Anaxillo et Germano, contra Gensericum, emissa, postquam diu inutilem circa Siciliam moram traxisset, revocata est, ut Hunnis, sub Attila, Thraciam infestantibus, opponeretur: Verum antequam rediret, coactus Imperator, pacem a Barbaris, oblatâ magnâ auri vi, et promissis M. libris annuis redemit. De negligentia eius, in subscribendo, a Pulcheria correcta, de nece paulini et Pulcheriae ex aula secessione, alibi.
